Hello all,
For those who have heard of Gloucester, England and for those of you who have heard of the massive flooding there... I'm slap bang in the middle of it.
But all is alright and although we've been flooded and have no water in the taps or shower we seem to be fine.
Shame I have to work though...Current Mood: thirsty

I'm alive! I am I tell you!
Firstly work has been manic. I work for a Life and Pensions company and at the end of the tax year it gets rather mad.
Secondly I've not been well :( Just getting like an achey back and neck every so often and I've been so tired so I've been watching tv, doing some chores and heading off to bed, as soon as my head touches my fluffy pillow off.
Thirdly, when not doing any of the above I've been sorting out the wedding plans! I'm so excited! Paul's parents have booked us a surprise honeymoon. Well I say it's a surprise... in reality the surprise is that I don't know where we're going and Paul won't tell me :S But we have a car and the dress and the photographer! And the place of course. It's gonna be great.
But now I'm back!Current Mood: crazy

Have pre ordered copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
I read The Order of the Phoenix (THE BIG ONE) in 7 and a half hours (With Paul interupting me every half hour to see if i'd got to 'that' bit.
I can't wait for this one but am kinda sad because it'll be the last one!
~*~*~*~*~
On a completely different note why oh why did I agree to work 4 out of 5 Saturdays in March? How the hell am I going to cope with four 6 day weeks when I've only been back working for two and a half weeks? (None of which were even 5 day weeks)
I'm going mad...Current Mood: giggly

Oh head stop it already.
I think I have a headache but yet not a headache. I sit here it utter silence and it's like I can feel waves in my head washing in and out across my brain. Okay and it's just really strange.
Does that sound like a headache? It's not really hurting it's just more... annoying. *touches wood*

I need some Supernatural help!
I'm trying to make some icons and was wondering...
Can people give me single words that they would use to describe Dean and Sam?
Picture incentives under the cut!

*cackles* Was searching for Supernatural - Faith episode quotes for inspiration for icon wording (Yeah I'm no closer) While waiting for my ride and had to laugh. Found these old gems..
Dean: I'm not gonna die in a hospital where the nurses aren't even hot!
Dean: You ever watch daytime TV? It's terrible. Sam: I talked to your doctor... Dean: That fabric softener teddy bear... oooh, I'm gonna hunt that little b**** down
Sam: You know this whole' I laugh in the face of death' thing? It's crap. I can see right through it. Dean: Yeah, whatever dude.
Dean: Man, you're a lying b*****d! I thought you said we were going to see a doctor. Sam: I believe I said specialist. Look Dean, this guy is supposed to be the real deal. Dean: I can't believe you brought me here to see some guy who heals people out of a tent!
Dean: Oh, excuse me, psychic wonder!
Dean: You better take care of that car. Or, I swear, I'll haunt your ass. Sam: I don't think that's funny. Dean: Oh come on, it's a little funny.
Dean has the best lines.
Anyone else want to share some quotes from Faith then go ahead :)

Brutal man! *bounces around excitedly*
I'm off to my first footie match of the season. *bounces more* What with being ill, the weather being crap then having to have my op (the slit (for want of a better word) is healing beautifully btw) I haven't been able to go and have forlornly watched Paul and his dad (Who takes us! Bless him) go off on their own.
Now it's my turn!
Fottball rules (but only when live!)
BCFC! BCFC! BCFC! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army!
Sorry *ahem* Getting into practise here.
Yeah and secretly I'm a bit of a footie hooligan.
And to all you who don't know it's not Soccer! It's Football! *grins*

Okay so my excitement over the snow disappeared this morning when the rain washed it away *pouts*
Paul very kindly straightened my hair for me last night - I'm having trouble reaching the back with what looks like a zipper fora neck at the moment and it decides to rain.. when? No not when I'm in bed asleep, or watching television or back in bed or on the comp. Oh no. It rains when I go up the shop.. :( Well straight hair was good well it lasted lol.
And for those of you who don't know I gave up smoking in October and today must be the first time I so desperately need a cigarette.
Thing is today is one day when I could so easily wander up the shop and buy some. I have money and I'm feeling upto a walk.
Somebody save me! lol

I'm back! I feel like shit.
The operation was done on Monday. It was a really wierd day in which I learnt many things.
Number 1 is that Paul and my family were far more scared than I ever was of my operation.
Number 2 is that my best friend isn't the girl I thought she was because despite promising to visit me she never came and she never replied to my text messages even to say why.
Number 3 is that no matter what they do to me I'm not as squeamish as I thought I would be thought I won't say why as I'm sure I will find many on my flist who are as squeamish as I thought I would be and to be honest I wouldn't blame them. However I am still a wimp.
Number 4 is that my pain threshold is far higher than I thought. Where everyone was running about going 'does it hurt? you want painkillers?' and expecting one answer I gave them a different one. 'No I don't want pain killers'. It didn't actually hurt that much... It just pulls a bit.
Number 5 is the fact that I bruise really easily. The bruise runs from just under my chin all the way down my boobs. My mother brought in the humour here and asked what they'd been doing to be lol.
Finally...
Number 6 is that I still have my Adenoids which by all rights I shouldn't. Here comes the science bit from http://www.kidshealth.org/ What Are Adenoids? The adenoids are lumpy clusters of spongy tissue that help protect kids from getting sick. They sit high on each side of the throat behind the nose and the roof of the mouth. Although you can easily see your tonsils by standing in front of a mirror and opening your mouth wide, you can't see your adenoids this way. A doctor has to use a small mirror or a special scope to get a peek at your adenoids. Like tonsils, adenoids help keep your body healthy by trapping harmful bacteria and viruses that you breathe in or swallow. Adenoids also contain cells that make antibodies to help your body fight infections. Adenoids do important work as infection fighters for babies and little kids. But they become less important once a kid gets older and the body develops other ways to fight germs. Some doctors believe that adenoids may not be important at all after kids reach their third birthday. In fact, adenoids usually shrink after about age 5, and by the teenage years they often practically disappear. However I still have mine which isn't an altogether good thing as they may want to remove these at some date though this is a very common op.
Anyway...
My voice is very croaky and my sleep pattern is completely wacky and my throat looks gross with all the stitches but I'm free at last! YAY!

I've been so tired the last couple of days. Not like I've been staying up over my normal time. I came home yesterday and went straight to bed. I got up 2 hours later or rather Paul woke me up with tea and bacon sandwich in hand. I managed to eat the sandwich but not the tea then I went back to bed again seconds later.
Then I got up around 11 to find out that our cat was completely missing. Paul went round the block four times while I searched the garden and house. She's never been out before. She used to be a house cat and had never been in the garden before she got to ours. Plus she's still really podgy and old and she can't jump the fence. But she must of got through the gap left by the high winds breaking our fence *grrrr* Just before we were ready to admit she was gone (There was no way she'd be able to defend herself against other animals and we have a dog walk out the back) We both went out calling her name and Paul just managed to spot her. (She's a black cat and was in an area that has no street lighting and the torch was absolutely feeble...)
Then after lots of cat attention (That's us giving the cat attention not the other way round mind) I had some soup and a cup of tea and went back to bed.
I've only just gotten up from sleeping again today.
